OVERVIEW

THE GOAL
This was a solo project. All aspects of user research, wireframing, prototyping, ideating, generating insights, designing were done by me.
Bizy was created to help people heal through community-based activities. Bizy can be thought of as a supplemental program to non-profits and governmental programs tackling poverty, homelessness, and substance abuse.
Originally, I wanted to compile resources for the homeless and at-risk, but there were similar apps available, I realized, after completing a competitive analysis. Bizy is different.
CHALLENGES
Since I originally ideated a resource app for the homeless and at-risk and later changed paths, I had to correct the personas and create a new concept. While this required extra work, the product creates a unique link between donors and participants that wouldn't be possible had I chosen the original idea.
TAKEAWAYS
Changing your mind along the way can bring about new, exciting, and more meaningful outcomes.
